I needed to move out of my house quickly as I was going through a divorce. Having never bought a house on my own, I was terrified and wasn't sure what to expect. Deb took me under her wing and helped make the whole experience tolerable. She never tired of me asking her to look for more homes or when I would change my mind on the location and size. She was always available to me and would calm my fears whenever questions came up or when I wasn't sure what to do. She even let me put both of my children in her vehicle, with their carseats no less, so that I wouldn't have to drive when we went to look at homes. I valued her opinion and got it for every choice I made. She helped me every step of the way and helped me celebrate when I finally moved in to my house. Deb Gilman was truly a 'god send' to us in the entire home selling process. It was our first time and we found ourselves in a situation where we had to sell by a certain date to move into our new home. With a slower market (and 2 small kids) the stress levels were definitely rising. Deb was always positive , professional and reassuring. At no point did we ever feel she was not doing all she could for us. Not only is Deb a great realtor but she is also a great person. Deb was not referred to us by friends or family, we came across her by pure luck when we called on a listing that she was representing. We didn’t purchase that listing but did purchase a second home in Scottsdale a couple of months later with her assistance. The realtor that was referred to us by our friend & Colorado realtor did not follow up with listings or return our phone call when we mentioned that we would be in the Phoenix area. Deb, on the other hand, was consistent with sending us listings, always returned our phone calls or emails timely & showed us numerous homes when we were in Phoenix.
